St. Patrick's Day Contest: You (SHAM)ROCK!

Are you feeling lucky?  Do you want to make your friends green with envy?  Are you in the Atlanta area and looking for a shamrockin' good time on St. Patrick's Day?

Well, then you've come to the right place.  And what a coincidence!  I always think "Werdyab" when I think "St. Patrick's Day", too!

Atlantic Station gave me 4 TICKETS to SHAMROCK THE STATION this Saturday, March 17th.  And I'm giving them to YOU.  Well, one of you.

I'm new to the contest business, so I tried to think of something thematic...

Like, post your favorite St. Patrick's Day pick-up line.

Or maybe a photo caption contest?

Catching me should be easy.  Too bad you won't find any gold in this pot.   

Then I thought that I should ask you to promote my blog by sharing a post or liking Werdyab Blog on Facebook.  Uhmmm....LAME!

(Besides, I'm already doing that.)

So I decided to keep it simple.  I posted a status about this contest on my personal Facebook page as well as the Werdyab Blog Facebook page.  My Mom and sisters also posted a contest status.  All you have to do is LIKE one status and you are entered to WIN ALL 4 TICKETS!  That's it.  Just like the status.  How easy is that?

Atlantic Station sure knows how to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!  You do not want to miss this fun, family event!

The family festivities begin at noon with Irish dancing, games, face painting, balloon art, bagpipers and a live performance by the kid's group Rock U Music Matters.  There will also be a kid-sized tennis court for kids to play a round with a leprechaun (hopefully not the one pictured above).  Oh, and KIDS UNDER 12 ARE FREE ALL DAY.  Won't Dave Ramsey be so proud?

For the kids old enough to drink green beer, the band Better Than Ezra will be headlining the evening events with a concert beginning at 8 pm followed by green fireworks.

HEY.  Did I ever tell you about the time that I went to Savannah for St. Patrick's Day when I was in college?  No?  Good.  Let's keep it that way.
