Well, not really. But I'm going to give it to you anyway.
Friday night, I devoted more time to editing my music track. Are you knowledgeable in the areas of DJ'ing? If so, hook a sister up! This crap is hard.
By 8 a.m. on Saturday, we were at the ballpark. Then we stuffed ourselves with cheeseburgers, saw the Lorax movie, and stopped by Target. After all that binge eating and money spending, I was exhausted, so I took a quick nap on the couch. Ahhhhh.
I woke up and practiced my dance for two hours. TWO HOURS. The last time that I did two hours of cardio was when Bel Biv Devoe was Top 40. At one point, I was literally sweating chocolate chip cookies. So Sunday morning, I felt like something between getting hit by a Mack truck and Chuck Norris roundhouse kickin' all over my tootsie roll.
I was about to record my video when I heard it. My house said, "YO, AMANDA. Remember me? The place that your children call "home"? Well... I know that you've got this little blog or whatever, but when's the last time that you gave me some attention? Look at those carpets! Look at those baseboards! And I'm pretty sure that the upstairs toilet has become a bona fide science experiment."
I'm calling FIRST PLACE for Bailey in next year's School Science Fair, by the way.
So I spent 8 hours deep cleaning my house. Does anybody know a good chiropractor?
Even with all this, I probably would have been fine if my husband hadn't served steak, baked potato, broccoli and beer for dinner. Now - I'm not going to admit exactly how many Weight Watchers points I consumed (ahem - 46), but let's just say that Jennifer Hudson suddenly started singing off-key and had no clue why.
Needless to say, at that point, tucking my children into bed felt like a P90X workout. Only harder.
So the video didn't happen, but I will record it sometime today probably.
