As you might have read here, I didn't care for the book Fifty Shades of Grey.

My negative review irritated many Fifty Shades supporters.  People were stopping me everywhere to shake their heads in disbelief and give me a finger snap in a Z-formation.

Although my *eye roll* probably made it look like I wasn't listening to your counter-argument, I was.  And I must commend you!  You almost convinced me to read the rest of the trilogy.  Almost.  But unfortunately, I had some really important stuff to do like organizing my sock drawer and dusting off my set of Encyclopedia Britannicas from 1983.


Yes I know I had the wrong attitude when I expected actual good writing.  And yes I know the next two books are better.  And yes I know I completely missed the beautiful love story that was crammed between the sex toys and the butt smacks.

Can't we just agree to disagree?  You call this book "Fifty Shades of Grey" and I'll call it "Three hours of my life that I'll never get back."

But, listen.  That's all water under the bridge now!
